The Self Storage Association
Self storage is the term applied to storage facilities that offer do-it-yourself storage space for members of public and businesses to rent month-to-month. You can rent your own lockable secure room of practically any size for as long or short a period as you require.
The Association recently engineered the appearance of self storage on Channel 5’s House Doctor program, staring Ann Maurice the famous California Real Estate Advisor. The one minute long feature not only educated the public about the product of self storage but also generated another market for self storage by showing the UK public, that by “clearing their clutter” before putting their house up for sale, the house looked a lot bigger, a whole lot nicer and sold a lot quicker!
